This is it, I have officially gone off the deep
end! Stonehenge is the working name for my Observatory, it was the first
thing that came to to mind when the poles were in the ground. The neighbors
think that I'm nuts. Strange shed they say? The building inspector
got nervous when he found out that the roof comes off. I had some great
CAD drawings of the design with 3D views, it blew his mind..... His comment
to me was "Go into my secretaries office she will give you a blank sheet of
paper and a pencil. Just give me a rough drawing, if the roof moves I
don't want to know about it!"

Well we are getting close
to completion. Next job is the interior!

of the finished interior and the scope finally mounted! Finally ready
for use!

This winch operates the
roof. It took weeks to figure out the final mechanics of the system.
The roof weighs over
800lbs and was difficult to move by hand.
The "Warm" room heated for
winter imaging.
